God is Near but so can be the Dragon

Are struggling with your writing or with taking captive your thoughts?

Writing is very interesting… I feel like I am trying to expose the dragon for what it is – sometimes the dragon that is in the air, but other times the dragon that seems to hide in our minds. That brings up the best struggle that is actually a blessing — the defeat of the dragon that wants to seek us out like that roaring lion. That is why we must take captive every thought to the Glory of God.

The following is a copy of Chapter 3 in my new book “The Dark Sky of Prophecy: What Have They Done?“

Chapter 3:  God is Near

In the sixty-six books of the Bible, God gives more than 8,000 promises and over 3,000 prophecies. Other passages reveal who God is through His Name. For instance, the Word reveals that Jesus is Creator of everything:

“For by Him all things in the heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether they are kings, lords, rulers or powers. All things have been created through him and for him. He himself existed before anything else did, and he holds all things together,” Col. 1:16-17.

Since Jesus Christ created everything, it would make sense that he has control over the deep mysteries of both science and non-science. Does this include control of time and events? The Word has two good examples: When King Hezekiah was sick, God gave him 15 extra years of life and at the battle in Gibeon, Joshua needed more daylight to secure the victory and so after he boldly prayed, God commanded the sun to stand still.

These miraculous responses, divine proclamations, and other deeply profound messages in the living Word portrays a broad and beautiful picture of who God is. He is beyond words and knowledge, for we still cannot fully explain the Trinity or the idea that God is three persons in one. Jesus said, “I and the Father are One.” The Sovereign God is full of grace, steadfast in his love, open to conversation as he takes interest in us, a lover and upholder of justice, and abundant in forgiveness and mercy.

When Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil they were cast out of the Garden of Eden. God did not want them to live forever in their state of sin. Tempted by the Serpent they doubted God’s Word choosing to follow the Serpent’s lie and their own will and desires.

In Genesis 3:15, God tells the Serpent and Eve that their seed will be at war, and the seed of the Serpent will strike her Seed, but her Seed will crush the head of the seed of the Serpent. This first prophecy introduces the central theme of God’s Word: redemption through Jesus Christ, the defeat of Satan, and God’s final judgment upon sin.

Genesis continues by revealing a series of covenants and promises that God made through Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph. Then eight hundred years later during the fall of Israel God’s prophets receive more detail about God’s plan to save the Jewish nation and the world.  Eight hundred years later Jesus Christ fulfills almost all those promises and covenants. On the Cross, He defeats the “seed of the serpent.” He declares, “It is finished.” The Temple veil is torn from top to bottom and Heaven’s Door is opened to all who place their trust in Him. Jesus the “Door,” is the Lamb of God that gives access to God’s throne at any time, Hebrews 4:16.

John the Apostle, adds to Jesus Christ’s divine biography by stating, “In the beginning the Word existed, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God,” John 1:1-2.  Yes, this boggles the mind but in essence the Word of God which “is living and active” is Jesus Christ. He, the Word, was with God the Father in the beginning. This powerful verse illustrates why the Bible is hard for the unbelieving mind and heart to grasp. Jehovah’s Witnesses change this verse to say, “In the beginning the Word existed, the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.” They have changed it because they do not believe Jesus is God.

Jesus Christ is not just a “divine recording” of the past but is living and active now in both the Word and in the third person of the Trinity. In the prophetic book of Revelation 1:8, he declares, “I AM the Alpha and Omega, who is, who was, and who is coming, the Almighty.” In the Gospels Jesus states, “The Father and I are One,” and comforts his disciples by promising that the Holy Spirit will come upon them when he leaves.

The mystery and power of the Trinity carry into the mystery and power of the Holy Spirit and the Church. The Holy Spirit is sealed in the heart of all confessing that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that He rose from the dead. The two thousand Church Age as an extension of God’s planned kingdom.

Genesis 1:2 reminds us that from the beginning the Trinity involves the Father, the Son Jesus, and “the Spirit of God who hovered over the waters of the earth”- while the “earth was desolate, unformed, and shrouded in darkness. God’s Spirit generated the life that formed in water and later the land. The divine parallel is Jesus who was desolate and shrouded in darkness on the Cross. He conquered death and sin so that we might live.

The mystery of the Trinity is the mystery of the Church and what separates Christianity from all the gods, cults, and religions of the world.  History clearly shows that the Bible or Word of God is the only book that gives a trustworthy account of historical events, people, and places in the past, present, and future. And it reveals an incredible cosmic rescue plan:

 “God has rescued us from the power of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of the Son whom he loves, through whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins,” Col. 1:13.

Sin condemns mankind and death is its consequence. God created man and gave him the opportunity to choose good from evil and placed a spirit, soul, and conscience in his heart. Adam, however, chose to disobey God opening the pathway to the Knowledge of Good and Evil and a permanent separation from God called “sin.” So, God became “man” to reverse what Adam did and Redeem His Creation. This is a true Cosmic rescue story.

The seven-day Creation message reveals a historic event, a wonder of science, and a series of promises from God’s heart. Those promises are both physical and spiritual and involve both Laws of Thermodynamics and the “law” that God placed in the heart of all Creation.  God’s power holds atoms together and each layer above was divinely designed for life and our enjoyment. Despite our great progress in biology, physics, and astronomy we are still unable to generate the “spark of life.” And we still do not know how light from distant stars fits the constraints of the historical Creation timeline.

Day 4 of Genesis reveals the purpose of God’s design for the heavenly lights was:

 “To separate day from night and as signs (Moedim) for appointed times.”

Moedim means “Signs” and not seasons, yet most Bibles prefer “seasons” instead of “signs.”  Yes, the sun was used for seasons but most lights, the stars and planets, were set in place as Signs for appointed times. The light from stars, moon, and wandering planets would announce the birth of Christ and the Great Sign of Revelation 12. This is Prophecy Alert # 4

This alert is of critical importance because most Bibles include the word “seasons” but omit “Signs for appointed times.” This is an example of omitting the correct Hebrew translation and it blinds people to the fact that God puts signs in our path to get out attention and “rescue us.”

The sun and moon were used for Signs in the sky during eclipses, blood moons, and dark suns. The Great Sign of Revelation 12 is a warning sign of a time or paradigm where Satan is cast down from heaven and will try to destroy the “Woman” or Jewish nation fleeing from Judah. He will fail as God provides the “wings of an eagle” to carry Jews to safety in the wilderness of Jordan. God protects these “saved Jews” during the entire 3.5 years of His Wrath. Again, this is a reminder that God still loves and cares for Israel’s people. This fact is a centerpiece of God’s Promise.

God declares Day 7 as a “day of rest” and sanctified for worship and to recharge the soul. Those 7 Creation days also reflect seven thousand years of His cosmic timeline fulfilling 2 Peter 3:8, “With the Lord one day is as one thousand years.”  Each Day of Creation is declared “good” by God, sealing His stamp of approval. It is a sampling of his sovereign power and will help us receive his “Good” plan and the goodness of his creation in our lives and share it with others. These are promises for all time.

God appointed faithful people to record, teach, and declare His promises and prophecy. This included scribes, priests, soldiers, and even zealots, fishermen, and a tax collector. At Pentecost God’s Spirit came alive in us. The Holy Spirit acts as our guide, helper, and revealer. And He convicts us of our sin. He reminds us that Jesus is:

To find Truth one must go to God for he is our Rest and Refuge and is Near to those who love him. God promised Abraham that his seed would bless all the nations and it is happening right now through high tech, television, and supernatural intervention. This promise echoes throughout scripture from Abel’s sacrifice and death to the Lamb of God on the Cross. Isaac was a type of Christ 2000 years later, and then another 2000 years beyond that to the Cross. All this was God’s provision or promise for the remission of sin. Figure # 1 on the next page explains this historical time line with the 70th week of Daniel and the Millennium also illustrated.

After the 2000-year Church Age, the rapture will happen, ushering in a three-and-a-half-year period of Wrath followed by the Millennium. Jesus will return in all His Glory at the end of the Wrath to defeat Satan and the Anti-Christ. Our present “Church Age” is the mystery that is sealed up. When will it end?

The Church Age is sandwiched between two 3.5-year periods that add up to Daniel’s 70th week: 3.5 + Church Age + 3.5 years = 7 years. It is a time of sanctification like the 10 Days of Awe in the Temple when a “sacred window” outside ordinary time was opened. The 10-Days-of-Awe were only 7 twenty-four hour days. So, the Church Age surrounded by this special “7-year spiritual week” reflects the supernatural quality of the 7-day spiritual week in the Temple that was 10 days long! Both in essence act to purify the “priests.” The “10” days of Awe were for purification primarily and the 2000-year Church Age is for sanctification of believers.

A Christian also has a supernatural quality in that he or she is Temple of the Holy Spirit. All believers are part of the “priesthood of God” and are being purified by God, under constraints of time yet anchored eternally.

Because God is faithful and just, the author believes Scripture teaches that believers will be removed before the outpouring of God’s Wrath. From Genesis to Revelation, from Enoch to the “obedient Church of Philadelphia,” God declares that He will “snatch away” his own before the Wrath of God comes. Below is just one of at least ten powerful “rapture” scriptures in the Bible:

 “With a shout of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of God’s trumpet, the Lord himself will come down from heaven, and the dead who belong to the Messiah will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever,” I Thess. 4:16-17.

In the Second Coming, when Jesus Christ defeats the forces of the Anti-Christ, he sets foot on the Mount of Olives and parts it in half so that those in Jerusalem can flee to the Jordan River.  In the rapture the saints “meet the Lord in the air.” Those are clearly two separate events. If you do not believe in the rapture, how can you explain this difference? Jesus Christ’s return with the raptured saints to rescue millions of Jews in Jerusalem and Judea is described in Zechariah 14:4:

 “On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward.”

There is no massacre of Jews. Jesus gathers the refugees from Jerusalem and leads them south towards Bosra in Jordan. This is the 2nd Coming of the Lord when the Jews see the Lord and declare, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.” They Believe in their Messiah and then He defeats all the enemy forces. Jesus says to all who believe in Him,

“Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age,” Matthew 28:20.

Jesus may be in Heaven but there really is no separation. The book of Joshua 1:8 reminds us to meditate in God’s Word “day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.” God does not want us to ignore the writings of the prophets and especially the Books of Daniel and Revelation. These are key books revealing history and the world’s condition, God’s plan for us, and details of events that will soon happen. The Word says that if you seek Jesus with all your heart you will find Him.

Misrepresenting and misinterpreting the Word of God has set the Church on a wrong trajectory concerning prophecy. God warns, “He who loves money will not be satisfied with money.” Prophecy speakers and authors have invested their reputation on publications or programs predicting wars or events based on incorrect analysis of scripture. Are they willing to admit their errors and maybe lose some credibility and prestige? Are they willing to admit that some of their past sermons or writings were incorrect and warn others? God wants us to be 100% truthful, honest and humble.  Store your treasure in heaven, the rewards are much greater. God exhorts:

“Do not be conformed to this world but continuously be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God’s will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect,” Romans 12:2.

God gives us a choice to follow him and His Spirit or to follow the world and its darkness. Jesus said, “I have come that you might have Life and have it more abundantly,” John 10:10.  Darkness and the world system says, “My body, my Choice!” or “I feel different, I am no longer a man.” Jesus Christ says, “You were fearfully and wonderfully made” by me. Craig Laurie sums it up:

“The Bible is a package deal, it does not change, and it is not a salad bar for you to pick and choose what you like or don’t like.”

If you ignore prophecy because you do not understand it, keep reading, invite the Holy Spirit to guide you, and you will be blessed as the fog in your mind disappears. The author remembers when he could not “see” what the pastor or book was teaching until he read and studied it himself, prayed about it, and asked the Holy Spirit to give discernment and insight.

God is not distant. He wants to meet with you and interact with your thoughts and ideas. He is not merely the God of prophecy, history, and Creation. He is near to those who seek Him. The same God who created the stars, fulfilled thousands of promises, and revealed the future through His prophets invites us into a personal relationship through Jesus Christ. His Word is near. His Spirit is near. His promises are near. And soon, He will return.

Eye Opening Mysteries Answered

Just as God used Daniel and heavenly lights to point to Christ’s first coming, does it not make sense that He will again use His Heavenly Lights, elements of Daniel’s Prophecy and historical markers to point to His next coming? A Solar Eclipse with Blood moons, a Virgin with child, a Dragon with a Lion, a comet titled P67, a horribly evil invasion on October 7 against God’s Promised nation, ancient mysteries and the prophetic number 7, Iran’s attack against Israel, and today’s uncertainty and anxiety being felt at all levels of society point to a surprise answer that will solve the Puzzle of the Ages.

Dr. Hofmann will show how carefully God intervenes in history linking the natural to the supernatural as His promises are fulfilled in sequences of time marked out by 6-Days in Creation. In the center is Jerusalem, the mystery of New Beginnings, three prophetic books and the divine connection of Festivals & Jubilees. This is a warning beacon in our Time to draw us to Truth and to solve the puzzle of the century before it is too late. Just as the scholars and scribes missed the signs 2000 years ago, people may miss divine joy unless they read this book. It is a sign that points to both Israel and to the United States.

The Bible has many mysteries, but the greatest mystery linked to Revelation is rarely discussed. Recently a renowned Prophecy speaker announced that he was beginning a program on Bible Mysteries. His list did not include Revelation 12, which contains at least 5 major mysteries. Revelation the Key Prophetic book given to us by Jesus Christ himself, is the only book that promises a Blessing to anyone who reads it, hears it, or understands it. Why? Because it is relevant to our faith and to understanding the Return of Jesus Christ, the Judgment of the Earth, and the Kingdom to come including the His Eternal Heaven.

The book centers on Revelation 12 which explains the Great Sign of the Woman and the Casting of Satan and His Angels out of Heaven. It is a Banner Chapter to get our Attention! It cannot be in Chronological order because Chapter 7 presents the martyred saints in heaven, and Chapter 11 reveals the murder of the two Witnesses.  How could Satan kill these saints on earth, if Satan and his angels are still in heaven accusing the Saints in Chapter 12?

You will discover Answers that will make total sense. This enigmatic chapter in Revelation speaks of a Dragon, a Child, a Woman, and an array of stars that form the Great Sign. Nowhere in the Bible does God mention a “great sign” except here. Yet, pastors and other leaders negate this Sign by saying it happened before the beginning of time. So, I ask you, why would God call it “A Great Sign,” if people were not yet on earth to see it. Are our leaders afraid to address this because God states that anyone who changes the meaning of His Revelation will be cursed? Remember God also says that anyone who reads, hears, or understands His Revelation will be Blessed. This makes the Book of Revelation the most important book in the World to read and understand.

Despite the severe warning many Bible translators have taken great liberty in re-interpreting words in Greek to fit their own agenda and prejudices. A good example is the description of the key 4th Horse of the Apocalypse- the only rider and horse that is given a title and that title is Death. Translators claim that the word “Chlooros” can be interpreted as “yellow” or “pale” which is NOT TRUE. We get the word “chlorophyll from Chlooros” and chlorophyll is bright green. The ancient Greek word for yellow is Xanthos and “pale” is not a true color because it can be used to describe many different colors. A pale face is not the same color as a pale horse. In the case of horses it is an off-white. The translator I talked to said it cannot be green because horses are not green. What? So my reply was, “This is NOT an earth-dwelling horse- it is a supernatural horse because Death is riding it.” Maybe God wants us to know that none of the horses are natural horses! The point is the translators are wrong again- and why would God select another White Horse for Death? It undermines the prophetic meaning. So some translators have made up a new color “pale green” even though nowhere in the text does it suggest that color! NOPE, the color is plain jane GREEN – like a green lizard or snake or grass. The same word Chlooros is used in Mark 6:39 when describing the grass that Jesus and others sit on to eat.

God motivated and inspired Dr. Hofmann to write the series because the Tribulation period is fast approaching. He gave Dr. Hofmann the vision of a great scroll opening in the sky with Hebrew letters- and showed him that it was not a dream by separating the scroll into 3 scrolls—each in a Primary color – and bringing them together—was a profound message to him as an artist. Now he sees numbers like 7 as prophetically divine. Things are not going back to normal as the dark pyramid and principalities of evil widen their control and power. These powers include many well-known corporations and lesser-known entities involved in witchcraft and wickedness. Just as with the spread of the invisible Covid, every level and sector of society is being attacked by an invisible wave of natural and supernatural darkness that is full of lies and celebrates evil. God is shaking the Church and believers must keep in prayer. God wants us to stand up and share the Gospel and be both a Light and Salt to a very lost world.

Citizens of Earth

May I ask HAVE YOU EVER LISTENED TO OR READ A BOOK BY A CHRISTIAN who has an extensive knowledge of science and who is also a Born-Again Believer with a strong background in both HISTORY & THE BIBLE?  Did it ever occur to you that a scientist may have a unique perspective that theologians, prophecy speakers, spirituality gurus, and pastors may have missed?  In a way it is like seeing light through a prism and realizing that God’s Light has another form and unique quality beyond our casual observation. God did warn us that “seeing you have not seen.”

The Holy Spirit transformed my life after I was radically saved in my office. In the process I had a near death experience where I was taken in a spiral of powerful LIGHT to a stage in what I perceived was a pitch-dark HELL.  I was on a stage when God asked, “does anyone have anything against this man?”  I was then lifted away by that same spiral of LIGHT.  When I awoke the janitor was wide eyed looking and stammering that I was alive. He told me that he ran to call the police, but they doubled back because he thought that he should first try CPR.  When he walked into the room, I was sitting up rubbing my legs which were numb.  Let me give you a good example from my recent book in the Cosmic Crossroad Countdown series. 1st take note that I have a doctor’s degree related to the physiology of the mouth and tongue.  I included this in the book because I had heard too many sermons claiming that the lesson in the story of Gidon’s 300- was it pays to be Alert-  NOPE God had a better lesson for us:

“The account of Gideon and the defeat of the Midianites is a good example of how God tested the faith of Gideon and the Israelites. Some say that God chose those last 300 men by how careful they were in drinking water from the spring. In a recent sermon a pastor stated that God chose the 300 because they were observant of their surroundings as they lapped like dogs with their eyes looking to-and-fro. Really? Note that Gideon started with 32,000 men and by the time God finished guiding Gideon’s selection there were only 300. It is clear to the author since he is a specialist in the physiology of the mouth and tongue that no one can lap like a dog. It is physiologically impossible. So, it makes more sense to the text and spirit of the Word that God miraculously gave 300 men the ability to lap like a dog so that Gideon could visually select those soldiers whom God found faithful. Only God knew the hearts of those men and only He knew which 300 had the faith and courage to represent Him in victory. After all the enemy forces had exactly 400 times the number of men and ended killing each other. This is a lesson on God’s Provision and the importance of having a pure Heart and a Righteous Spirit.  This comes from obedience to God’s Word and listening to His voice.”

I enjoy reading Jonathan Cahn’s books.  His latest book is profoundly true — however my book that came out in 2021 and has been updated for 2022 exposed this dark reality from a slightly different perspective.  It spoke of the dark pyramid and the “gods of this age” along with all the powers of darkness along with the principalities of evil that are manipulating people and events to prepare the stage for the Anti-Christ.  The Book is Cosmic Crossroad Countdown: The Invisible War and the Final Chapter.  It is the last book in the Cosmic Crossroad Trilogy—the first came out in 2017, one week prior to the great American Solar Eclipse.  Each insight revealed in this book came TRUE.

I, however, lacked complete faith in what God had put in my heart and mind and reluctantly diminished the message concerning the fall of the American Economy. God told me to state that our economy would collapse, and it was stated that way in the first print—-but I thought that since the economy was booming under Trump that the statement would discourage people from reading the book—that it would hurt the credibility of the book—I was wrong.

As stated, I wrote the first book, which the Lord put in my heart, in 2017— and 7 out of 7 insights came true including the MAIN WARNING that we would be hit by an Invisible agent that would negatively affect every level and sector of society.  The result would be New Beginnings that would change the way we live and affect even the elections.  Two other Cosmic Crossroad Countdown have since been written.  The latest one has just been updated and is right now being published. It is Cosmic Crossroad Countdown: The Invisible War & Final Chapter. The following is a short summary:

Can you sense that something is amiss in our fine-tuned Creation and in our current events? We seem to be teetering on chaos or self-destruction.  For this a Great Sign was given to warn us – yet our leaders both in government and in the Church choose to ignore it.  The first Cosmic Crossroad Countdown warned of an Invisible War and waves of New Beginnings that would upturn every sector of society. Those 7 insights came true exactly as forewarned.  This new book reveals amazing insights that should shake the world.  Understanding the mystery of the Great Sign of Revelation 12 and the historical markers that surround it will light the path to a divine crossroad and countdown.

This divine crossroad takes history and theology and links a Divine time to our timeline while joining the Great Sign to an ancient prophecy and curse. As we uncover this mystery, we will see a dark web, an error in histories most important date, a series of unique astronomical events, and a profound truth that can determine our future. There is an approaching blazing mountain and a mighty earthquake that will affect the whole earth.  It may be easy to explain the “How” and “When” or “Where” in these events, but this book will go a step further and explain the difficult answers to the “WHY.”

One simple example is WHY has Chapter 12 of Revelation been relegated to the junk heap of prophecy?  It is in the VERY CENTER of the most important book in Prophecy and acts as a compass to link Genesis, Daniel, and all other prophecies together.  This unique book and chapter will uncover mysteries  that blind eyes and deaf ears have hidden.

The New Explosive Update to Cosmic Crossroad Countdown- with my Testimony

This little book: Cosmic Crossroad Countdown has 7 insights that have come true.  Because of limited time and space, I will only detail two but as you will see they are of supreme importance.  I am not sure why God gave me the message since I am neither a pastor nor skilled speaker and have thus had to cry out in the wilderness alone to warn anyone willing to listen. The message connects God’s first Promise (Gen. 3:15) at the beginning of time to the message He gave Daniel and John the Apostle.  God warned the Serpent Satan that his seed would strike the heel of the seed of the Woman, but her seed would crush his head.  Daniel was given a vision that spans the centuries; first marking the date of Jesus Triumphal entrance into Jerusalem, and then allotting a final week of 7 years to come sometime in the future.  Almost exactly 500 years later John the Apostle was given the Great Sign a vision of a Woman, the Dragon, and the birth of a child that would baffle theologians up to now.  God places John’s vision right in the middle of the most important prophetical book in the Bible. He brackets this book with a promised blessing at the beginning and at the end to anyone who hears its words, reads the content, and/or understands the message.  This is one reason Why this message is so important.  It is interesting that Daniel, John, and Moses who wrote Genesis, each saw Jesus face to face and each wrote books that are the most controversial of all time. And God uses these books to highlight His Great Sign of Revelation 12 – & the same three books are the focus of my little book.

Many people are distracted by fear and uncertainty but know this, God does not change, and His WORD is the same yesterday, today and forever. God’s Word is just as fresh and vital as it was when it was written. There is peace and joy that passeth all understanding  in the LORD’s presence for He has overcome death, Satan, and the world.  “The people dwelling in darkness have seen a great Light, and for those dwelling in the shadow of death, on them a light has dawned.” This is a promise that has two fulfillments like the Great Sign, one for the Time of Jesus and one for today.  Like King David we must all repent, seek Him and ask for a Clean heart and a Right Spirit.

 We are the midst of a great darkness that is getting more and more intense each day as the Lies and Rebellion against GOD and Righteousness escalates. The influential Big-Box-media have become echo chambers for gross lies that are projected throughout the world. These lies promote the killing of babies, the worship of nature, the rejection of God’s authority, and overthrow of both the family and any noble institution that opposes them.  There is not much time. Satan wants to pollute every heart and destroy everyone’s spirit.  To a believer this is a shadow much like the shadow of the Valley of Death from Psalm 23, for it warns us and purifies us as God walks with us. God gave us the Tabernacle or Temple as a shadow of the eternal blood Sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the Cross. It makes sense that He is now giving us a 7-year shadow, as a precursor to Daniel’s 70th week, to prepare us for the storm ahead. The shadow began in the first blood moon of Passover 2014 and will end at the equinox of 2021.  In the center was the Great Sign.  Just like the Great Sign is in the center of Revelation, it is also in the center of God’s will and in the center of our time.

The book explains where, how and why the Great Sign of Revelation 12 appeared in the very middle of this 7-year shadow.  During this time, we have had the rise and fall of ISIS, the attempted overthrow of our government, the rise of immorality and perversion, the decline of authority and the family, and the New Beginnings at every layer of society due to Covid-19. The shadow of His wings is a comfort to those who depend on Him, to rescue the lost, restore their hearts & spirit, & bring joy in the midst of fear (Ps. 63:7).

If we are in Him, His voice guides us and He goes before us. So why does God choose weak vessels like us?  A broken vessel knows his or her purpose. Not only are we made by Him, he restored us and gave us purpose, a new life and unshakeable hope.  So, what made me weak? I had a pathologic fear of speaking in public—not sure if I was dyslexic or just shy, but I had a hard time expressing myself in both junior and high schools.  I was afraid of being called on or if asked a question I would go blank out of fear. My parents said it was because I was dislocated half a dozen times when my diplomat father was reassigned every 2 years to a new country (Brazil, Iran, Venezuela, Philippines, and Argentina)  In Iran I had a surreal experience at “Daniel’s tomb” when God calmed my anxious spirit.  Anyhow this paranoia only increased when I came to America to go to college (like “Giles goat-boy” in the big city).

The second “supernatural” experience happened my senior year as I sat in a totally dark dorm-rec room contemplating life & death.  The Viet-Nam war was on full force and I had failed a pre-Vet entrance exam.  As a 10-year old kid my two older brothers had cornered me into a boxing match with a much bigger stronger kid-  they were jealous since I had defeated a challenger to my king-of-the-block status weeks earlier- a kid whose brother was a friend of my older brother. During this boxing match I defeated the aggressive opponent – and it was the first time I had every fought anyone much less boxed.  To avoid this next bout, I closed the bathroom door and just froze blindly asking God to help me.  After what seemed like eternity, there was a light and then as if I had been asleep a knock on the door and it was my parents.  So here I was, the Dorm monitor alone at Easter break without a person to talk to (my parents had returned to Iran for another 2-year stent).  Then the main entrance door opened and a person in bright white linens walked in and asked where the cafeteria was.  I was stunned not only because the question was strange since the university was shut down but also because she was extremely beautiful and bright.  She had an accent that reminded me of my mother, and so I asked her if she was from Brazil.  She said yes that she was from Fortaleza.  That was the city that I was born in!  Stunned I asked who she was?  She said she was the wife of an engineer who was at a conference on campus.  After telling her where the cafeteria was, I turned on the lights and fell back into the chair realizing that God had interceded.  Yet I did not have the understanding and the faith to go much further—I did not know how?  My father had not given me the tools nor the desire to open the Bible even though he was the son of a missionary.  He made the mistake of trying to explain away with science most of the great miracles in the Bible.

I felt determined that I could succeed on my own and eventually I fell in love with someone who in a sense saved my life, but she led me into drugs.  Note that my father had warned me of the danger and I had ignored him – at which time the worse event of MY LIFE happened – when he told me not to marry her – I cursed him and he died the next morning of a heart attack. I tried to resuscitate him to no avail, and it was my wife who would resuscitate me into the real world of self-existence.  We were co-dependent and so if it were not for God’s intervention, I would not have survived her departure when 6 years later she said that she was leaving.  I was desperate since the drugs we were taking seemed to be erasing what identity I had.  I crashed onto the floor in total supplication and surrender. Amazingly God answered my prayer and brought me into contact with Christian radio and music ministries on my car radio.  I flipped open a little green Gideon Bible that had been given me when I graduated from High School. For the first time in my LIFE a message penetrated my heart and not just my mind! Both the Word and the music worked like medicine to heal a very broken spirit and polluted mind. Then as I prayed, He answered one prayer after another.  The fear of the supernatural and of darkness that had haunted me my whole life went away miraculously.  However, during the cusp of this restoration and transformation I continued with the medicine and while under its calming effect (it was a simple non-hallucinogenic muscle relaxant) I had a vision of going to Hell. I was placed on a stage with hundreds of darkened lifted hands and frozen faces. A voice said, “Does anyone have anything against this man?” I did not hear a voice but saw a massive light that grabbed me and lifted me up in swirl of light, then I awoke.

In front of me was the janitor whose mouth was agape.  “I thought you were dead.”  Were his first words.  “You were as white as a ghost.”  I quickly replied, “I’m Ok, thanks.”  He continued, “when I saw you, I ran out of the room to call the police but then a voice told me to go back and try to save you.”   The next day as I was relaxing with Gospel music when God unfolded a massive scroll written in Hebrew over me and then showed me that I was awake and not asleep by dividing a 2nd image, one of a classical natural landscape, into each primary color and bringing it back together.  I did not grasp the meaning of this message until realizing for the first time that God may have purposed me to unveil a truth that others could not see: while seeing  they do not see and hearing they do not hear.  In the many years that followed I was led into the mission field to help Indigenous Indian groups in far out places such as the Gola tribes of Africa, the Ixil in Guatemala, Quechua in Peru, and Mayans in Panama. On each trip God used miracles to win hearts and to teach us to depend on Him and not on our own strength.  These experiences, seminary and Bible studies helped me dig deeper, but it was God who unraveled the mystery of the generational markers, the Fig tree parables, and the Sign of Revelation 12.  They are linked.

The final vision scared me out of my wits (in short time God was kind to wean me off the drug).  I was not unconscious since I was listening to Christian music on a hand radio.  But I was sitting in a reclined chair its back to a blank white wall.  However, as I looked ahead, I saw a reflected image behind me, and it was coming out of a massive hole in the wall that was on-fire—a Hellish-hole.  I immediately realized that it was a Satanic spirit and without even looking back I ran out of the room and into the basement where my car was….but as I was fleeing down the steps a voice told me your car is not going to start.  I put my key in and it did NOT start….so I ran up the entrance ramp to the convenience store across the street and called the ministry on a pay phone (I still had the radio in my hand).  They prayed up the amour of God with me and told me to go back.  I did but it was like walking against the wind and darkness won.  I retreated and so called them back.  We prayed that a car from God would come to help me jump my car. Within 10 minutes as I sat on the concrete a guy asked me from his car-window “Puede Ayudarme?” which means can you help me?  “Sure, the hospital is this way and by the way can you help me,” was my reply.  The prayer was answered. -   “Be alert & of sound mind so that you can pray.”

God’s Prophetic book of Revelation is both a hope and a warning to us.  It is unique in that it promises that all who read and hear the book a sincere Blessing and to anyone who tries to change its meaning – a curse.  At the middle of Revelation in Chapter 12 there is an enigmatic Great Sign. It is not in chronological order with the rest of the book -so it should tell us that there must be another reason for its placement.  The multi-dimensional meaning of this Great Sign as stated by God to John is discussed in detail in the newly updated book Cosmic Crossroad Countdown…the eBook is only $2.99.  Associated with this Sign is the Jubilee year, the promise in Genesis 3:15, the Jewish High Holy Festivals, the shadow of Daniel’s 2 prophetic 3 ½ year periods that forewarns us of an approaching storm.  As hinted in the beginning of this letter these insights do shakes up all the past attempts to interpret this key passage.  Popular interpretations connect the sign only to the past- to both the birth of Jesus and the nation of Israel. Yes, those past events are the foundation of the Sign (as all signs need a strong foundation).  But a Sign is NOT a Sign unless it points to the future and that is what this Sign does. Why no one else has “seen” this I do not know.  Notice the word “Then” connects the passage of a war in heaven and the casting out of Satan to the Sign of the Woman and Child.  These separate messages are inherently linked together and are connected to the two 3 ½ year shadows. STAINED GLASS INSPIRED ART & Great Experimental Masterpieces

Dr. Hofmann has been performing experimental art for over 40 years and was inspired by this when he realized that large paintings weighed too much.  He discovered that accidents are often the path to creative inventiveness.  This is especially true in his work with stained glass.  Although he still does precious precision work as a dentist he has found time to make large stained glass – paintings that are durable and somewhat easy to lift and position.  Below is his latest work entitled:  The Crossing: Moses and the Birth of a Nation:
